We've helped families through this before

Your worries, we know them well.

Moving to Brussels with children? Choosing a school from a distance, or mid-year, can feel daunting. Here's what families ask us most.

  • Joining mid-year?

Year-round entry is quite normal at BJAB. We routinely settle new starters throughout the year – with your help and support we will get them there!

  • English not their first language?

Our dedicated EAL programme is built into the school day. Most children are confidently working in English within one term.

  • Will my child struggle to adjust to the curriculum?

American, French, IB, national – we exploit the flexibility of the British curriculum and draw in our extensive experience to assist them - and you - in adjusting to their new curriculum.

  • Relocating from abroad?

Book a video appointment with the headteacher from anywhere. We meet families online every week and many enrol before they've even landed in Brussels.

How admissions works

Three simple steps. Our Head of Admissions guides you through each one.

  2. 2

    Application Process

We will consider your application carefully and will let you know our decision within five working days.

  3. 3

    Formal Registration

The school invoices you for the deposit and the registration fee; once these are paid, your child's place is confirmed and secure.
